Madison and her buddies John and Jessica
Madison with her "goodies"
Madison had a great day on Saturday with her two friends from school, Jessica and John. John is in her class and Jessica is John's sister. Madison and Jessica were in gymnastics together. They came for a good ol' eggs, bacon, OJ, pancake brunch, then hung out for a couple of hours. Afterwards we all went to the mall had REAL ice cream (my first time since I've been in Costa Rica). The mall just opened a Haagen Dazs ice cream store - PRICEY, but WELL worth it. Then we went and saw Indy! Afterwards it was back to our place for ice cream and not cake - but pumpkin pie! Yes ladies and gentlemen, I asked Madison what desert she wanted for her birthday - and she picked her FAVORITE of all - pumpkin pie. So - that's what she got. And no, those aren't "regular" candles - we had to use tea-light candles :-) Hey - we are missionaries - we have learned to be VERY creative! Madison got some new drawing books, and has already been quite creative! All in all, a GREAT way to spend her day!
