With temperatures at or above 100 degrees this week and the humidity is hovering near 90% it has been one of those times where you just gotta say....ughh. Sleeping under three fans with no blankets...change clothes in the middle of the day...cold dinners...carrying sweat rags all day.
Pictures don't do it justice, but let's try:
These mountains are a mile away and that is not clouds or smog...it is humidity.
No chance of rain...just blocking the sun.
This is our shower...turned on full blast.
This is how Max spends his day...tongue out and on the tile.
It is supposed to cool down in a couple of days...for Max's sake let's hope so.

This morning I'm waiting here in SC for it to warm up a bit before I go out for a bicycle ride. Otherwise I probably would not be reading your blog about the HEAT and lack of water for the shower. Am I looking forward to being there in June?
Jim @ Faith.
Jim - of COURSE you are looking forward to coming in June :-) It's all part of the experience! Can't wait to see you!
No water? That makes it miserable! We used to dunk our sheets in a bucket of water and then lie down with a wet sheet on us under a fan - sort of a short term air-conditioner. My sympathies!
